C. P. Fry spent Sunday with friends and relatives at DsMLotte. C. T. Otis, of Chicago, is here on business this week. Chas. Proudly, who has been sick tor some time past, is improving quite rapidly. Anna Hochbaum, of Chicago, is visiting her uncle Wm. Hayes and other relatives. Mr. DeKoker. of DeMotte, was the guest of Lulu Clifton last Sunday. Lulu Eberhart is visiting her parents at Reynolds. Born Saturday Feb. 15th, to Mr. and Mrs. N. A. McKay, an 8 pound son. Mother and child are doing well, Robert Harmon, of Brookston, was calling on friends in town Monday and left next day for Rose Lawn on business. QWm, Burns killed one of the largest wolves ever seen in this county, on the Otis ranch Thursday of last week. Chalmers Fry took a jolly sleigh ride party of young folks to the home of Mr. Baxter on the Otis rinch Wednesday evening of last week, where they spent the time in social conversation and light refreshments. The many friends of Mrs. Winslow will be glad to learn that she is getting along nicely and will be able to return home in about two weeks. Operator Zimmerman has resumed duty at the depot after a weeks vacation on account of sickness, with his parents at Rensselaer. J. E. Hollon filled his place during his absence. Don't forget the chicken and ice cream supper at the school house Saturday evening of this week, Feb. 22nd. Previous to the supper Rev. Alden will give a free literary entertainment. Everybody oome and help to make this one of the most successful occasion of the kind yet held. Don’t forget the date. Mrs. R. 0. Graves of Morocco is visiting her sister Mrs. N. Littlefield and other relatives and friends in town.
