Death of Samuel H. Howe.

Mr. Samuel Howe] died on Monday morning, Feb. 17th, at 1:30 o’clock, on the 8. E. Yeoman farm, near Fair Oaks. The cause of his death was a chronic heart trouble, from which he had sufferred for many years, but the present acute sickness had lasted about six weeks, or ever since the family moved to this county, from Dwight, 111. Previous to going to Illinois, some 8 or 10 years ago, the family lived in Rensselaer and its vicinity for many vears. He leaves a widow ahd one young child, the former being a daughter of W, C. Pierce, .of onr city. Mr. Howe was a soldier of the civil war. The funeral will be held at 10:30 p. m. Wednesday, at the residence of Elhanan Potts, on Elm Street, under charge of Rensselaer Post, G. A. R, No. 84. Interment in Weston cemetery.
