RENSSELAER REPUBLICANS.

At the meeting of Rensselaer , Republicans, last Friday evening t to organize for the coming city and county elections. R. B. Porter was chairman of the meeting and H. B. Murray secretary. Permanent organization was effected, by electing H. J. Kannal as chairman of the city Republican committee, GF- E. Murray | secretary and H. B. Murray, treasurer. It was decided to hold a mass convention, to nominate a city ticket, on Wednesday evening Mar. 26tb. at the opera house, The ward conventions to nomi nate candidates for oouncilmen, will be held on the evening of March 28th, at different rooms in the court house, the Ist ward in the ladies waiting room, the 2nd ward in the sheriff’s office, and the 3rd ward in the county assessor’s office.
