Military Company About Ready to Muster.
Rensselaer’s proposed military company is coming along, slowly but surely, and will be ready to be formally organized and mustered in, at almost any time. Some 60 applicants have already successfully passed their physical examinations, and there are others ready to be examined at any time, although the number already accepted are enough to start with. Adjutant Gen. Johnny Ward is off with the Governor on their trip to Cuba, and nothing can be done until he returns, but it is hoped that very soon after that, he will come to Rensselaer and master in the company.
