At the city council meeting, Monday night, all the employes of the oity light plant and waterworks filed a petition asking for an increase of salaries. Referred to committee on lights. JudgeS. P. Thompson’s petition for a permit to construct a sewer from the site of his proposed new building was granted. Some 20 claims, approved by the finance committee, were allowed.
