The McGee Story, Concluded.

Mrs. Anna McGee writes from Kansas City, requesting us to publish her denial of the statement lately attributed to her husband, Landy McGee, now of our town, to the effect that he bad not lived with her again, in Kansas City, or even seen her there, or knew where she was. She affirms that at his earnest solicitation, they did try another round at domestic happiness, at Kansas City, but that she soon found Landy’s personal peculiarities incompatible with hers, and she again dissolved partnership, and this time, for all time, she says. She also intimates that Mr. McGee had better let up on his alleged intimations that any other party was implicated in her going away. With this “day noo mong” as the Frenchman say, ends the story of the McGee family troubles, unless some new matter of public interest develops, in the form of a sequel. If Landy wants to make an affida--vit-a6 to just how hard he licked “Old Hi” we might squeeze that in yet, anyhow.
