This Is a Good Suggestion.

Remington Press: Owing to the removal of Commissioner Dowell to lowa, we understand his pkcte is soon to be filled by appointment, which will neccessnate the election of an entire board this fall. Mr. Way mire who was elected from this district has moved into the second district, by reason of which this district should be entitled to furnish the appointee to succeed Mr. Dowell as well as to the regular nominee from this district. After consultation with many of the leading Republicans of this township all of whom are unanimous in his choice we wish to present the claim that W. O. Roadifer of Carpenter township is the very man for the place. A man of mature years, sound judgment, well educated, thoroughly reliable and strictly honest He has filled many offices of trust and responsibility and enjoys the confidence and esteem of every man he has ever been associated with. No man in the district is better qualified* he is not seeking the place, in fact this article will be his first intimation that he is wanted, but we believe we voice the sentiment of a large per cent of the taxpayers of the entire county in asking for his appointment, which will also mean his nomination and election.
