The Commissioners’ Court.

The Commissioners completed the work of their regular February session, Tuesday afternoon.

Saloon licenses were granted to Charles Uim, of Remington, and Joseph Conway, of Parr, there being no opposition to either applicant

J. C. Thrawls, Benj. Harris and M. H. Hemphill tfere appointed viewers in two new road cases, Those of Qeorge J Michaels et al and August Geoppe, etal. In the road case of Wm. B. Blankenbaker et al. Geo. F. Meyers, John O’Conner and Joel F. Spriggs were appointed viewers

The bill of T. J. Sayler & Co,, for $5,954.25, for the county’s share of the new brick streets, was continned for the action of the county oouncil.

The contraot for groceries and queensware tor the poor farm, for the ensuing three months, was given to John Eger, at $43.80; for dry good to B. Forsythe, at $21.15, for clothings, shoes etc to L. Wil&berg, at $19.40.
