Mr. Landis Meets Tilman.

Congressman Charley Landis, of Delphi, and Senator Pitchfork Tilman, from Bouth Carolina, engaged in a joint debate at Fredonia, N. Y., one day last week. The question was Republicanism vs Democracy and the discussion followed the lines of the platforms of 1900. Mr. Landis has had a number of debates with the Hon. Champ Clark, of Missouri, but this is his first bout with Benator Tilman. Charley oan hold his own with the best of them.
