Wheatfield Items.
An orchestra was organized in heatfield on the 19th of January 1902, and under the instructions of Mr. Perkins of Medaryville. The Austin farm 1 mile south of Wheatfield was purchased by Mr. E. Jessey, of Illinois, from Mr. W. Myers, of Wheatfield, acting as agent ior the heirs of the property. Mr, E. Jessey will take possession next Spring. Mr. C. J. Hands, of Illinois, purchased the livery and feed stable from W. McNiel Jan. 1, 1902, and ook possession the loth, of Jan.
Mrs. C. J. Hands goes to Mantawan, Michigan, Saturday for - a visit with her mother, whose health is very poor.
Bert Brooks, of Rensselaer, visited Wheatfield last Saturday on business.
Bert Vandacar, of Duunville, was a Wheattield visitor Saturday. Married Tuesday January 28th, 1902, at 12 m.. at the residence of Mr. and Mrs Jensen, the parents of the bride, Mr, J. P. Hammond, form, erly of* Rensselaer, and Miss Marie Jensen. After which they started for a visit to Chicago.
