Governor Dnrbin settled the oontest for the Lake-Porter judgship, Tueeday by the appointment of Willis O. McMahan, of Crown Point. The new jndge is 52 years old and has been a prominent attorney at Crown Point for many yeara. He ie well known to the bar of Jasper oonnty, and held by them in great esteem.
