An Important Decision.
A decision of more than ordinary importance was handed down in the Indiana Appellate court lately in the case of responsibility of saloonists’ bondsmen sent up from Shelby county. The court holds that persons who go on the bond at_saloon keepers may be held responsible for damages to a man who loses money by gambling while under the influence of liquor i i a saloon. That is to say that a man in a drunken condition losing money in a saloon where intoxicants have been .sold him may successfully bring a suit for damages against the bondsmen cf the saloon keeper.
