Winter has set in once more. Al Fletcher is better. Charley Jenkins and wife returned home after a weeks’ visit at Wheatfield. Esper McCleary of Gifford visited his mother Saturday night and Sunday. Dan Lesh and family of near Rensselaer and James Torbet and family of Blackford look dinner at Hod Daniels on Sunday. Charley Shroyer has rented his farm and will move to Rensselaer. Several of the farmers of this vicinity attended th* sale near Gifford on Monday. Miss Ida Castor, of Newland, will spend a week with her Cousin, Chess Castor. The box supper at Independence was well attended Friday night. Miss Icia Parker received the prize.
