Execution Likely to Be Delayed.

Death row at the Michigan City penitentiary has now been nearly depopulated, as only “Buck” Wheeler, the Boonville criminal, remains to be executed. His death is set for next month, but as his case is in the Supreme court on a motion for a new trial it is thought his execution will be delayed pending a decision by the court. Wheeler has been visibly affected by the swinging off of both Keith and Rinkard. It is not thought that be will be able to dodge the same route when the time comes.
