There was a battle royal at the bowling alley Wed. night when the greatest septuagenarian bowler on earth and its suburbs, Bill N. Jones and bis I. X. L’s met the other Bill’s, surnamed McCord, with bis team, vaingloriously named the Winners. It was a good game all around, and the I. X. L’s, scored 2,518 pins and the Winners 2322 pins, the former team waxing the Winners by 196 , pins. Bill N. rose grandly to the I greatest of the occasion and bowlbed the beet game of the present season.
