Rural Route No. 2.

. To Start March Ist. At last the long looked for order by the postoffioe department for putting in service Rural Free Delivery mail route No. 2, from Rensselaer, has been issued. The order is for it to start on March Ist. This route has already been described. It starts from Rensselaer on the north gravel road, and goes due north ten miles, well up into Union tp. Then it goes west 1| miles, and south again, with one or two turns, and strikes the west gravel road at the Grant school house, and then back to town. The route is officially described as 26 miles long, area covered 30 square miles, population served 512, houses on route 128. Elias Hammerton will be the carrier. D E. Hollister substitute carrier.
