Fox’s Foxy Cure for Balky Horse.

Comrade Charley the Rensselaer mail carrier, has recently had great trouble in trying to haul bis loads of mail sacks with a balky horse. He has now discovered that the cause of its balking is that the ordinary method of bitching up did not take up the slack in the critter’s back-bone. He has therefore taken a sailor’s half hitch around the animal’s tail and lets it haul a portion of the load by the tail holt. The result is that it now skips along to and from the depot so cheerfully and bouyantly as to make it a fit and proper help mate for Cheerful Charley himself
