Results of the Parole System.

Reports from the Indiana Hate reformaton’ at Jeffersonville and the state prison at Michigan City show that from the time the indeterminate sentence and parole laws became operative, April 1. 1891, there have been paroled from the two institutions 1,430 men. Of this number 1,004 were from the state reformatory. Out of the entire number only 246 have been unsatisfactory.
