Go East Young Man, Go East.

Still Jasper Connty people continue to reverse Uncle Horace Greeley’s advice, and continue to go east to grow up with the country instead of west. J. E. Clary, who very recently sold the former G. W. Burk farm, 4 miles north, has just bought a place in Fulton county. It contains 219 acres, is 3| miles from Rochester, and the price was $12,000; or about $55 per acre. Still another instance in the same line, is that our townsman, Harrison Warren. He returned Thursday evening from a trip to Wabash county, where he bought a 73 acre farm, near LaFontaine Both Mr. Clary and Mr. Warren will make their residences upon their new purchases.

Mr. Warren paid S6B per acre, for his farm. It is only a quarter of a mile from LaFontaine, fine level land, well improved with buildings and fruit, will raise any kind of crops, in abundance, and lastly is right in the midst of the best gas region now left in In(liana. It is already- leased for gas and oil, and the lease pays $1 per acre a year nntil wells are put in, and then SIOO per year for each gas well and one sixth of the product for oil wells. Mr. Warren expects to move the Ist of March.
