The Knights May Build.

There is a strong probability that Rensselaer Lodge Knights of Pythias, will erect a fine business block and castle hall on their recently purchased lots at the corner of Front and Washington streets. A preliminary committee appointed to consider the matter reported to the lodge Tuesday evening They report against making any repairs on the present building and in favor of building a new one. The lodge therefore appointed other committees to make further preliminary investigations. Such as to ascertain what tenants can be secured for a new building, what arrangements can be made for money, cost and character of the building etc. It is proposed, if they build at all, to put up a first class brick, stone and iron building two or three stories high, probably three, and a durable and architecturally handsome building, and mbdern and up to date, in all respects. It is proposed to take care of the financial end by organizing a stock company, and issuing 6 per cent, bonds. The prospects now seem very flattering for the erection of the building, this season.
