Weather hogg Scores a Point.
J. W. Weatherhogg, the court house architect, has won one point in his litigation with the county commissioners, as to amounts claimed to be due him as commissions on the cost of the court house. The Supreme Court handed down a decision Wednesday, wherein it reverses Judge Palmer’s decision against Weatherhogg. Judge Palmer threw the case out of court on demurrer, and this i now reversed, and the case must now be tried on its own merits. The attorneys for the county are confident that they will beat Weatherhogg on a show-down of of facts, and prove that he has received all that is he entitled to, even under the Supreme court’s ruling on the contract. The amount in dispute is about $2,000.
