The party at Mr. E. E. Harshbergers was v‘6ry well attended Tuesday evening. Miss Mary Hoshaw of Rensselaer visited with Miss Ida Elder last Thursday and Friday. The latter and her mother returning home with the. Free Baptist quarterly meeting. Mrs, Edward Hudson, Miss Ottie Blankenbaker, Mrs. Lillie Gant and daughter Marie, Mr. David Elder and Mrs. Charles Rowen and children also attended the quarterly meet ing at Rensselaer from this place. Mr. and Mrs. Saylers who was the guests of Charles Rowen last week returned to their home in Rensselaer F riday evening. Clifford Edwin, youngest son of D. A. Elder was very sick with the croup last week but is better at this writing. ' Mr. and Mrs. Fred Steel visited with Mr. Moses Chupp and family Saturday and Sunday.
