Aged Illinoian Breaks His Thigh.

Vincent Shaw, a resident of Illinois, whops in Barkley tp., visiting his sister, Mrs. Michaels, who is siok at the home of J. L. Nichols, slipped oh the ice last Saturday and broke his right thigh bone where it enters the hip joint. It is a bad break and will lay Mr. Shaw up for a long time. And especially as he is quite well along in ye Dr. I. M. Washburn was called to give the necessary surgical attention, .
