Gillam and the Oil Fields.
The young folks of Gillam and Walker united and gave a Xmas dinner at Asphaltum. The Asphaltum orohestra was present and all enjoyed themselves. Miss Roßa Cogswell, of Bradley, 111., is visiting friends inJ’Gillam this week. Miss Nina Bradbury, of Lafayette, is spending the holidays with her parents. Several of the [[different leases are shipping oil from Asphaltum. The Dew Drop Sunday School gave quite an{interesting program Xmas eve. The star program was guooessfully [carried out, everything was very sacred and all enjoyed themselves. Mrs. Gila Taylor their superintendent {will be missed very much when she moves from their community in the spring. The tree was loaded with nice, useful presents and a fine treat consisting of candy, oranges and apples found its way to all the little folks. Quite a number of Gillam young folks attended.
