Death of Mrs. Anna Bradbury.

Mrs. Anna Bradbury, widow of the Rev. Bardin H. Bradbury, died Sunday, Dec. 22nd, at her home in DeMotte. at the advanced age of 79 years, 1 month and 9 days. She was sick only one week, with pneumonia, previous to which she had enjoyed unusually good health for one of her age. She was born in Virginia, but moved to Ohio with her parents, while young, and was married there in 1844 to Wm. Haddix, who died in 1864. She had four children by this marriage, all of whom are now dead, but they left four children, who will be the lawful heirs of their grandmother, Mrs. Bradbury. The second marriage, Rev. B. H. Bradbury, ocoured at Rolling Prairie, this state, about 30 years ago. He was at that time in the active Methodist ministry, but soon afterwards retired, and they lived on a farm in Keener Tp., until some years ago, when they meved into DeMotte. His death ocoured in 1895.

The funeral was held Monday, at the M. E. church, at DeMotte, by Rev. H. M. Middleton, now of Remington. She was greatly beloved by all the community, and her funeral was very largely attended.
