Death of Richard Stone.

Richard Stone, better known as Dick Stone, died suddenly at his home on Vine street, about 6 p. m. o’clock Friday Dec. 20th. He had been in poor health all the season, but kept around, and Friday forenoon be worked at his usual occupation of sawing wood. When he returned home at noon he told hiSjwife he felt badly and believed that he was about done up. He remained at home that afternoon, and when setting in his ohair, suddenly fell over, expiring immediately. A physician was called and decided that the cause of his death was exhaustion and heart failure. Mr. Stone was 69 years old last April, and was a soldier in the civil war, in the 48th regiment. He leaves a widow and 9 children, some of the latter quite young, and two daughters married. One son, also grown, is in Minnesota, The funeral was held Monday, at 2p. m., in the F. W. Baptist church. 'lnterment was in Weston cemetery.
