The “natives” were surprised at the weather last Saturday and they seem slow in getting over it. Ora Eldridge shipped a car load of hogs from this point last Sunday, The Epworth League will have Christmas exercises, including a Christmas tree, Tuesday evening, the 24th. School will dismiss for Holidays, Dorman and Lash Cade moved in from Hoopston, 111,, last Saturday. They will farm the John Pogue farm this year.
