About the Pligrim Magazine.

Some months ago the Pligrim company published a notice in The Republican to the effect that the new publishers had found the subscription books in such bad shape, that many would continue to receive the magazine after their subscriptions expired, but that no pay would be expected for those extra numbers until after due. notice was sent. Many who received The Pilgrim as a premium through The Republican have lately received circular letters* asking for renewal of subscription, and implying that something is due on the extra back numbers. To all of these, we say, write a postal card to the Pilgrim, briefly explaining the matter, and asking the magazine to be discontinued if you do not want it any longer. Under the terms of their own- * notice, nothing is due for the extra numbers of the Pilgrim, up to this time; and we are confident that they are honorable people in their intentions, and will recognize this fact as soon as the matter is explained to them.
