Upholds Nieholson Law.
In deoiding the saloon case from Nappanee against George W, McLaughlin, the appellate court Friday held that a Nicholson law remonstrance against granting a lioense to a specified applicant, filed just before a session of the board of county commissioners, to be sufficient to defeat an application presented at the next session of the board. It is also held that remonstrators can effectually remonstrate against an applicant even if the person who is expected to make application for a license has made no movement toward doing so.
