Can’t Locate The Grave.
In our recent account of the soldiers’ tombstones that had been sent here, in care of Bensselaer Post G. A. 8., we stated that on© stone, at that time still boxed up, probably was intended for a soldier buried in some country cemetery. We have learned since that it is for Henry F. Young, of Company G. 9th Indiana regiment. The stone has not yet been erected, and for the reason, that the grave has not yet been positively located. He is buried in Weston cemetery and in one of two graves, but so far no one has been found who knows which one. There are two graves in “soldiers’ row” between the graves of Jonah Porter and Asa Porter, Mr- Young is known to be in one of these two graves, but in which one is not known. Neither is it known who the other grave is occupied by. The post is anxious to find out which is Young’s giave and also who is buried by his side.
