Landy’s Lost Love Not Located.
Little Lee Bichards, about 10 or 11 years old in age, and about 8 in size, got home last Saturday fro m another of his on-the-bum trips. This time he got as far as Kersey and reported when he got back that he had been visiting his dear missing auntie, Mrs/Anna McGee, who lately left here with a tioket for Kansas City in her pocket. Lee is little but a great traveler, and a teller of traveler’s tales; and this story of Mrs. McGee being at Kersey is no doubt one of them. Lee says he visited her there, but instead, he stopped at L. H. Hubbard’s place, and the latter knows nothing of Mrs. McGee being in that neighborhood. In this connection, it may be mentioned that Landy has been journeying around looking for his lost love and that when in Logans port a few days ago, it was telegraphed from there to the Indianapolis News that Landy claimed that when she left she took SBOO of his money. When little Lee was interviewed on this point he gave a sniff and said he bet Landy never even saw half of that much money in his life.
