Joe Borntrager Badly Hurt.
• A serious hunting accident ocoured last Satnrdoy on the J. W. Pierce farm, two miles south of town. Joe Borntrager, who now occupies the farm was out bunting rabbits, in company with Jim Ropp, a young boy. The latter went to shoot at a rabbit and. probably being excited,. shot Joe in the back, at a distance of about ten feet. The charge struck the lower part of the shoulder blade, tearing it in-two and also badly lacerating the mnscles. Dr. I. M. Washburn was called out and dressed the wound. It will be a"painful wound and probably long in healing, but the doctor does not consider it at all dangerous.
