The City Council.

The City Council, at their meeting Monday night confirmed the street improvement’s assessments on Forest and Merritt streets, as made by the oity commissioners, with a slight change or two. J. H. Chapman was given a permit to erect an implement and vehiole store building on Van Rensselaer street, north of Schofield’s livery stable. The permit is for frame building 28 by 100 feet in size. A considerable number of claims were allowed.
