Fred Parcells Won Out.

Fred Parcells won his law case Monday afternoon ip about the same number of seconds that he won his foot race at Parr. That is, after the jury got hold of it. Fred ran and won a foot race at Parr on Wednesday, Nov. 27th and was charged with exposing too much of his person to the weather, while making the race. In other words with wearing a fig-leaf attire, —and after the frost had withered the leaves. At the trial it was not disputed that Fred’s racing clothes are cut decidedly decollete at both ends, yet it was also shown that he did wear his regular racing “trunks” on that ocoasion, and that he had no intention of giving offense to anyone. But accidents will happen to people with few clothes on as with many, and the fewer the clothes the worse the accident. The jury unanimously lined up for aoquittal, in just about 10 seconds after entering their room. The following men were the jurors: W. O. Milliron, 8. O. Duvall, Omar Morlan, John Poole, A, Harmon, H. Day, Fred Stocksick, Pres Hemphill, Ed Duvall, S. Galbraith, John Duvall and Mose Tuteur. /
