Chicago last week after visiting her brother, Walter Rainford who sustained severe injuries by falling from a building he was working on. Wm. Lee is finishing the last well he contracted to drill on the Rouse farm. The oil companies are now banl* ing oil to Asphaltuuu Messrs. George Comer, Fred Stoirs and Joseph Steinger are talking of going to Dakota next week on a prospecting tour. B. J. Gifford is bnilding a large doable crib at Asphaltnm. Hay is shipped every day from Asphaltnm. Edd Hershman who is attending high school at Rensselaer oame home last Saturday on his wheel, and we are all wondering how he got back.
