J. A. Sigler & Co. have moved in their new store building. Geo. Dolson and Clifford Fairchild are running a hay press. Our liveryman*D. E, Fairchild has bought a nice four sea'ted covered rig to accomodate land seekers in these parts. Dr. Rice, who has been very sick for the past ten days, has recovered and is able to be on our streets again. John Shortridge, of Momence, is here buying hogs this week, Mr. Wilson from Iroquoisj who owns a farm near DeMotte, came to the hotel Tnesday night and went to bed with a stranger who came here the same night, and when Mr. Wilson awoke the next morning he found his pard gone with s3o.oo£of his money. The pard has not been heard of sinoe.
