Just Missed The Wreck.

The Crown Point Star has the following regarding our former townsman, Chas. J. Daugherty. “Deputy-sheriff Daugherty and family returned frpm Michigan Monday morning. Mr. Daugherty went after them the afternoon of the great wreck, near Senaca, and was on the next train following the ill-fated oars, he being obliged to wait at the scene of oarnage three hours before the traok was cleared. The sight he saw and the smell of the burning human flesh is still fresh in his memory, and the sooner he oan forget what he saw the better it will suit him. A number of the wounded were aken on his train to Detroit.
