J. Frank Hanley Makes a Statement.

Ex-Congressman 0. Frank Hanly yesterday afternoon gave his first authentic interview regarding a candidacy for the United States Senate. In part he said: “I am not now a candidate for any office, and I will not under any oiroumstanoes be a candidate for Senator against Senator Fairbanks. In the event of his nomination and election to the presidency, I shall be a candidate, should conditions warrant my entering the obntest. If in 1905 Senator Beveridge shoud have opposition in renomination, as I am informed and believe he will have, I may again contest for the honor with him.”
