High School Game Results In Tie.

A fiercely contested gridiron battle in which neither team was victorious, and the final score was 0 to 0, was played at Monticello yesterday between the high school teams of that plaoe and Rensselaer. The Monticello team was much larger than the Rensselaer lads, averaging probably 20 pounds heavier to the man, but they were not so well on to the various tricks of the game as their lighter opponents and during the entire game the ball was swayed backward and forward, twioe being within 20 yards of the Rensselaer goal and once within 15 yards of the Monticello goal. Perry Gwin, Ray Collins, Glenn Wishard and Lynn Sample were the stars for Rensselaer, and Montioello’s full back was the best for them. It was a nice, gentlemanly oontest and the Rensselaer boys report the best of treatment and a fine time.
