Mrs. Chilcote and Mrs. Penwright spent Wednesday at Remington, Mrs Adams visited with £Mrs. Fisher Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Griffith are rejoicing over the arrival of a boy at their home. There was an old hat social at Mrs. Fisher’s home, north of town, last Saturday evening. Sharon now has a magnetic healer. No need going so far for a doctor.

Gillam and the Oil Fields. Mrs Jennie Wilcox and Mrs. Rilla Kennedy spent Thanksgiving with their sister, Mrs. Edwin JFaris, of Chalmers. Willarcl Deslms gave a party for his young friends Thanksgiving. They moved some of the furniture aside and had a general good time. Will Lee, the young driller, is putting down a number of wells on the Rouse farm. Mrs. Celia Warren, of Chalmers, was the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Peter Owens last week. Mr. Thrawls surveyed 40 lots on the Ben Rouse farm, for the town of Asphaltum, they will be ready for sale soon.
