Death Of An Unknown Wanderer.
A man of rather advanced age who gave his name as Charles Vickory, died last Thursday, Nov 28th, at the home of Julius Raskey 5 near Blackford. He came there the Bth of last August, said he was unable to travel any further, and that he had no money, and Mr. Raskey gave him a home. He would not tell where he came from, but stated that he had a home some place, but had made a second marriage, which turned out badly, and he had taken his daughter and gone away, leaving his wife in possession. Where the daughter is, be would not say. When his sickness became severe, he refused to have a physioian, but one was finally called, but found him dying when he arrived. The cause of his death was chronic bronohitis. His age was 74 years. Although he stated he had no money, $71.73 were found on his person, after his death; whioh will defray his burial expenses, and partly recompense Mr. Raskey. He was buried last Saturday afternoon, at Prater cemetery. Some effort has been made to locate his relatives, but so far without success.
