Hicks Not Dead But His Predictions Are

Rev. Irl Hicks, the alleged longdistance weather prophet has got a good deal of free advertisting lately in the way of oorreotions by newspapers of their previously published statement that Irl had been dead many years and that his brother-in-law was managing the weather prediction foundry. Irl insists that this story of his death is not simply a great exaggeration, but an actual falsehood, that in fact he isn’t even a little bit dead, but alive and hearty and still doing the predicting business at the old stand. There may be considerable of truth in this claim of Hicks’ to be still alive so far as his actual physical being is concerned, but all the same he is now a good deal of a “dead one” when it comes to people taking stock in his weather predictions.
