Annual Teachers’ Association.
The Jasper County Teachers’ Association, its annual session in RenflHHfe Friday and Saturday was aßMded by every teacher of the county, except two of the Rensselaer city teachers, whose absence was occassioned by unavoidable circumstances. Fri-. day was spent in visiting the grades of the Rensselaer schools •and all the teachers joined in pronouncing the work in able hands. The Saturday session was held in the east court Toom of the court house. President Boy Blue, of the association, was sick and unable to preside, and vice president, Less Sayers, of DeMotte, presided. The following officers were elected: M. R. Marshall, Superintendent of the Remington schools, Pres., B. F, Coen, Vice President; Rosaline Lane, Sec’y.; G. W. Scott, Trees. The next annual association meeting will be held Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, 1902,
