Nothing in the Judgeship Rumor.

The rumor keeps bobbing up at Indianapolis and Washington, that Senators Fairbanks and Beveridge will recommend Congressman Orumpacker for the vacant judgeship in the U. S. Circuit Court. Mr. Crumpacker was interviewed on this rumor at Lafayette Wednesday and pronounced it a dream. Frank Hanley of Lafayette, who was alleged to be in favor of the plan, expecting to succeed Mr. Crumpacker in Congress, also repudiates the rumor He says he is not a candidate for congress.
