Smallest Railway in the World.
A narrow-gauge railroad is In operation at Duffieldband, England, with a locomotive so small that it would be almost a plaything in the hands of the average boy. The engine weighs only a trifle over three nnd a half tons. It Is the smallest locomotive in the world used for business purposes. A man of ordinary height Is considerably taller than the engine, Including Its smokestack, while the width of the machine In Its widest part is only about seventeen Inches. The rails 6Ver which it hauls miniature cars are fifteen inches apart.
