Arrested for Sending a Bad Letter.

Deputy Sheriff Oliver P. Robinson and U. S. detective Rankin, of Indianapolis, went out south of Mt. Ayr, Saturday afternoon and arrested Harry D. Binney who was husking oorn for Lew Bowers. Binney, it seems, had had some trouble Jwith a man at Lookport, Carroll Co., and wrote him a letter, presumably both abusive and obsoene, and this letter having been turned over to the U. S. postal authorities, was the cause of Binney’s arrest, He was taken to Lafayette, before the U. S. commissioner, and is now being held there with his bail fixed at S3OO, which he is not likely to be able to furnish. Binney is about 23 or 24 years old.
