A Benefit Performance.

Seven of the nine acting members of the stranded Royal Stock Company are preparing to give a benefit performance at the opera house, next Tuesday evening, Nov. 12th. Their purpose is to be able to pay their bills here and leave town with clean reoords. Their object is entirely laudable and should be encouraged. They will give a vaudeville performance, including all the best specialties in their reportoire, and also one act of the farce oomedy "Irish Assuranoe and Yankee Modesty.
