Hoy Rishling was in Rensselaer Monday. Miss Ella Mathews returned to her home at Brookston Monday evening. Mrs. Bessie Myers came down from Rensselaer Monday evening. The teachers of this vicinity attended institute at Monon last Saturday. A. C. Robinson was in town Tuesday. Messrs, Babcock & Hopkins are building a crib preparatory to handling the corn crop here this fall. Ollie Martin and Charlie Jones were both in this vicinity with their corn shredders the first of the week. It seems that the farmers are now beginning to appreciate the value of the fodder as a rough feed and are carring for it this year in a way that will bring them a rich return. Mr. North, of Green Hill visited with Bam Jacks this week. ยป Mrs. Rena Creel, of Sheldon, 111., visited with friends in this vicinity last week. Mrs. E. W. Maxwell improves, very slowly from her recent sickness.
