Successful Sunday Excursion Season.

Now that the Sunday excursion season is practically over, railroad officials are looking back over a period of extraordinary activity. The season opened early in April and continued until last Sunday, when most of the roads ran their final excursions. These excursions grow more popular every year, and some of the roads report difficulty in getting equipment enough to handle the crowds that want to go. A great majority of Sunday excursionists are people that work hard all week from one year’s end to another and get no other opportunity for a vacation although the cheap rates are of course often taken advantage of by traveling men and others who will wait a day or so to save money.
