Prize Corn From Illinois.

Mr. Schlink, of Peoria, 111 , who oarried away some of the best exhibits of Jasper county corn, in A. F. Long’s window, some weeks ago, has returned the compliment by sending to Mr. Long 16 ears which were prize winners at the recent corn exposition at Peoria, 111. Eight of the ears are yellow and eight are a dark solid red. It is fine solid corn but no better than some of the exhibits in Mr. Long’s recent show, and the Illinois ears are comparatively smaller. The red variety is said to be becoming quite popular around Peoria, and is said to be great corn to yeild.
